IGL Report on Serial Research on Effects of Leadership Education Program of Ochanomizu University in 2019

Popis: This report shows the results of the serial questionnaire survey in 2019 on the effects of the leadership education program of Ochanomizu University by focusing on leadership development classes of the Institute for Global Leadership. The main findings are as follows. First, about 60% of the students who attended the classes have already experienced various kinds of leadership position in their school days or on campus. Second, there is an increase in the average scores of students’ self-assessment on their own leadership competencies at the end of the IGL’ s leadership development classes. Especially, the scores tend to be higher at the specific competencies, which are related with the main purpose of each class. Third, students who want to show their leadership in the future, regar dless of experience of leadership positions, give a higher score to assessment of the IGL’ s classes. Fourth, 70% of the students found their role models through the Career Design Program.
