It is the intent of this paper to point out the high-handedness of Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc. (KEPCO), that is one of typical powerful, regional monopolistic enterprises in Japan. The company came out in the author's presence as a real estate business. Great Hanshin Earthquake occurred in 1995 influenced the boundaries between privately-owned lands around Nishinomiya City. This story is the course of a legal dispute about the privately-owned land boundary between a ordinary citizen and KEPCO, which followed upon the civil conciliation procedure in a summary court. |
