Consideration about the influence on estimation of the static P-V curve by expression of the consequent part function of fuzzy reasoning method

Popis: The characteristic of pulmonary is different, and the setting of the respirator is decided by the experience and the perception of the doctor now. Therefore, the suitable setting of ventilation conditions is needed for every patient. The static P-V curve expresses the characteristic of human lungs, and that is needed for the parameter setting of the respirator. In this study, we present estimation technique of pulmonary elastance and the static P-V curve by using the fuzzy logic. The expression of the consequent part function in fuzzy rule is investigated, and the effectiveness of our modified expression of the consequent part function is illustrated by a estimation example using real patient data.
