Popis: | Detector characteristics of a piezoelectric PZT (Lead-Zirconate-Titanate) element were studied by bombarding hypervelocity iron particles in the velocity ranging from 10 km/s to 55 km/s. The rise time of the output form decreased as a function of velocity during collision. The amplitude seemed increasing with the velocity above 30 km/s. The sensitivity depended on the incident angle. An effect of cross-talk was not significantly observed in the dodecahedral structure. The PZT element was promising as a detector that was open to 4 pi solid angle and operated in real time. 資料番号: AA0063349046 |
