Acceptability of autonomous vehicles in comparison with other automated technologies

| Popis: | 自動運転を含む様々な自動化技術に対する受容性を尋ねる調査を実施した．自動運転，タクシー，自身の運転の比較から，(1)運転頻度に関係なく，安全性では自動運転，早着性ではタクシーが優位，(2)運転週1日以上で自身の運転，運転週0日でタクシーの利用意向が優位であった．運転頻度に関係なく安全性と利用意向に正の相関があり，安全性が自動運転車の普及に重要である．自動運転の受容性には無人コンビニの受容性が参考になる． Acceptability to various automated technologies including autonomous vehicles was surveyed. A comparison among automated driving, taxi driving, and driving by him/herself revealed that (1) regardless of driving frequency, automated driving and taxi driving were preferred in terms of safety and early arrival, respectively, and that (2) those driving once a week or more prefer driving by themselves, while those rarely driving prefer taxi driving. Regardless of the frequency of driving, there was a positive correlation between safety and intention to use, indicating the importance of safety for the spread of autonomous vehicles.
