Popis:	application/pdf In 2020, the Chinese government approved the Chengdu-Chongqing (Cheng-Yu) dual-city economic circle. It aims to boost the economy of inner western areas and promote the development of Chengdu and Chongqing. Together with the Bohai Bay, Yangtze River Delta, and the Pearl River Delta, the Cheng-Yu Economic Zone is set up as Chinaʼs fourth economic zone. There are voices in industries and others expecting the revitalization of the regional economy through the formation of Metropolitan areas, and it is necessary to pay attention to the ongoing structural reforms of inland cities in China. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the progress of urbanization by Chinaʼs urbanization policy.
