Popis: The main purpose of this paper is to numerically analyse inviscid flows about wing-fuselage combinations. In the first series we present a numerical procedure for grid generation about a wing-fuselage combination by the analytic mapping method. A user’s manual for the FORTRAN code of the procedure is also described. Furthermore, many numerical examples are presented in order to show the utility of this code for several wing-fuselage combinations and in order to understand the roles of the controllable variables which yield many patterns of mesh distributions. In the next series, numerical analysis of inviscid flows will be carried out under the grids generated by this numerical procedure.
