About the Support Expected by New Councillor of Mental Health

Popis: 重大な他害行為を行った精神障害者の処遇について意見を述べる精神保健参与員の役割は重要と言える。養成研修を受けて間もない新任精神保健参与員がいきなりその役割を果たすには,不安や悩みが伴うと思われる。筆者は,その要因を明らかにし必要とされるサポート方法の検討を行うために,2020年に養成研修を受講した2名と2021年に養成研修を受講した3名に,新任精神保健参与員が期待するサポート等についてインタビュー調査を行った。その結果,新任精神保健参与員が期待するサポートとして,事前の情報提供によるイメージの醸成,審判における精神保健参与員としての視点の獲得,司法関係者も含めた実践的な研修の実施など,継続的な研修制度の整備などが明らかとなった。 It can be said that the role of councillor of mental health who express opinions on the treatment of mentally handicapped people who have committed serious other harmful acts is important. It is likely that the sudden role of a new councillor of mental health who has just received training will be accompanied by anxiety and worry. In order to clarify the factors and examine the necessary support methods, the author conducted interviews with two people who underwent training in 2020 and three people who received training in 2021 about the support expected of new councillor of mental health. As a result, it became clear that the new councillor of mental health expected to provide support such as fostering an image by providing information in advance, acquiring the perspective of councillor of mental health in referees, and implementing practical training including those involved in the judiciary, as well as the development of a continuous training system.
