Difficulty for High School Students in Performing Research Projects and Support Instruction for Solving Their Difficulties

| Popis: | 本研究では，理数科高校生が課題研究を行う上での困難感を調査し，その困難を解消することを目的として課題研究の進め方に関する講義を実施した。アンケート調査の結果，生徒は，研究計画の立案，研究テーマの設定，研究に必要な情報の収集に困難を感じている一方で，教員の支援やアドバイスを受けながらグループで研究に前向きに取り組もうとしていることが判明した。本講義では，具体的な研究事例を紹介しながらテーマ設定の方法を説明したことにより，大半の高校生がテーマ設定のノウハウを理解し，課題解決の見通しを持つことができた。本研究により，高校生が課題研究で直面する具体的な課題と，その解決に資する１つの支援策が明らかとなり，課題研究の効果的な指導法を検討する上での重要な情報が得られた。 In this study, we investigated the difficulties for high school students of a science and mathematics course about performing research projects, and provided them with a lecture on how to conduct research in order to help them resolve their difficulties. The results of our questionnaire survey revealed that the students had difficulties in planning their research projects, setting research themes, and gathering necessary information for their research, while they were willing to work positively on their research in groups with the support and advice of their teachers. In this lecture, we explained the method of theme setting by introducing specific research cases, and most of students were able to understand the know-how of theme setting, and were able to have a prospect for solving their problems. This study clarified specific issues that high school students face in their research projects and a support way that contributes to solving their difficulties. These results provided important information for considering effective instructions for studentsʼ research projects. |
