Various aspects of health-related life-style and behaviors as well as certain health measures were examined among 44 students in relation with their participation in the "Health Science" course lectures offered in the first semester of the years 1999 and 2000 at the Kyushu University of Health and Welfare, so that their health related problems to be counter-acted should be identified. Upon the excution of the study, it was suggested that the current students have no specific apparent health problems, except their interest and concern about their own health were found not to be too keen. Above all, their current hypokinetic lifestyle is so serious that possibility of developing degenerative diseases in the later life is anxiously expected unless they develop certain active lifestyles in the near future. |
