Effect of self-restraint of activities when the new coronavirus infection spreads on the physical fitness of general male and female university students: Validity of home exercise and physical fitness measurements by distance learning

Popis: In this study, in order to clarify whether the results of the physical fitness test by physical education distance learning were appropriate, or whether the physical fitness of university students in 2020 was affected by the self-restraint of activities due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, a questionnaire on exercise habits and the same physical fitness test was conducted in the first (online class) and the second semester (face-to-face class). The subjects were 120 male and 41 female students who took physical education and other classes in the first or second semester of 2020. When comparing the exercise frequency in 2020 with that in 2019, 64.9% and 56.1% of male and female students answered that they had “decrease”, respectively.
