Y. H., aged 25, was hospitalized because of the absence o f the right testicle. On examination the right testicle and epididymis were not palpated. No hernia could be found on this side. The left testicle was in the scrotum and normal in size. He was of average development and showed no other abnormality. On operation the testis could be found neither in the inguinal canal nor in the retroperitoneal space. However, the vas found to be ending blindly in about middle of the inguinal canal, and the characteristic leash of spermatic vessels ran to this blind end. This case was the 21 st reported one in Japan and statistical review was briefly made. |
