In this report, Gas temperature and electron density in non-equilibriun plasma generated in admixture of helium and hydrogen (1%) is presented as a function of discharge current at high pressures. Emission spectroscopy was carried out to derive these by analyzing spectral broadening widths of 667.8 nm He I and 656.3 nm Hα self-consistently. With increasing the discharge current from 10 to 80 mA at a working gas pressure of 42 kPa, both the gas temperature and electron density increased from 330 to 650 K and from 7x10 13 cm-3 to 4x10 14 cm-3 respectively. |
