| Popis: | 筆者は2007年3月から1年間，ハーバード大学イェンチン国書館に滞在し，実地研修を行なった。日本古典籍の目録出版や整理，ミーティングや図書館集会への出席，各地の図書館訪問や調査等を行ない，成果をウェブでリアルタイムに報告した。長期・滞在型海外図書館研修の利点として，アウトプットやコミュニケーションの体験，学内者として得られる情報・サービス，背景やマイナス面の理解等がある。また課題として，キャリアパスとの連動性，報告の公開，情報共有による研修事業の定着等がある。 The author spent one year at the Harvard-Yenching Library on an internship, beginning in March 2007. He prepared a catalog of Japanese rare books for publication, attended meetings and library conferences, made site visits to other libraries，and reported his findings in real time through a blog. Some of the benefits of long-term internship in a foreign library include gaining experience with communicating and exchanging information (not just receiving but also giving), experiencing services from an insider's perspective, and gaining a better appreciation for the reasons for developing these services as well as their negative aspects. The author also considers issues such as the relationship between internships and career paths, public access to internship reports, and the value of sharing information about internship activities. |
