| Popis: | The history of education in Vietnam can be divided into three main phases. The first phase was the period of traditional education （also known as “Confucian education”），referring to the period up to 1919 when the last civil service examination was conducted in the country. The second phase was a new period when Vietnam worked on socialist reforms to build a socialist country. The third phase refers to the present day.
