Popis: "Porous ceramics prepared from fly ash (coal ash) and glass bottle are very useful for water purification. When 15 e of simulated w_aste water, composed of I 00 me of milk and IO me of activated sludge, was circulated for 5 days in a glass tank containing 750 g of porous ceramic, COD of the waste water decreased from 250-270 to about l O mg/ e . This result proves 95-96 % of water purification. Under the same condition, BOD decreased from 7 40-800 to IO and 2 .6 mg/ e after 5 and IO day circulations, respectively. These results indicate water purification of 99.0 and 99. 7 %."
