With the increase and diversification of the number of Japanese language learners in Japan and abroad, the needs and learning methods of learners are being actively discussed in the field of Japanese language education. This situation is also the same for such education in the ASEAN region, especially for native Vietnamese speakers. On the other hand, it is difficult to say that students who have acquired Japanese language skills at higher education institutions in these regions are using their Japanese to participate in Japanese economic activities. To clarify the actual state of the connection between Japanese language education and career paths in the region, this study focuses on the exit strategy of such education at the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University, in Vietnam and the surrounding area, and the needs of Japanese companies seeking to utilize local human resources. |
