Popis: | The purpose of this article is to present detailed information about social welfare in Taiwan based on the result of fieldwork. This paper is constructed from three parts. The first part discusses in detail characteristic patterns of the social welfare thought. Taiwan is a multiethnic society. The religious volunteer's activity exceeded the ethnic barrier, and the role for people to tie was played. The second part is about the current state of social welfare system and policy. To prepare for an aged society with fewer children, the government founded Ministry of Health and Welfare. Privatization of social welfare was promoted by this ministry, and, in addition, it brought the market opening and the liberalization of social welfare. The third part is about the current dimensions of specialized licensed social workers, Also, the importance of the ethnic-sensitive practice in the multiethnic society is described. The history of social welfare in Taiwan is process of replacement of old theory and practice by new one. 原著論文 |
