Popis: This article discusses documentary films on the aftermath of the 11 March 2011 Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant Accident which de-naturalize the naturalized Anthropocene, or the mediation naturalizing the combination of humans with nature. Taking four documentaries as case studies with particular attention to their representations of landscape, animals, and place, I delineate their different ways of mediations: anti-capitalist, anthropocentric, animal-welfare-oriented, and ecological. In so doing, I argue that one of the films problematizes the de-territorialized place in which humangenerated contaminated materials or radiation here have been spreading fluidly beyond the borders defined by administrative cartographic categories such as prefectural and national ones.
