Popis:	It was in 1890 that the first book about the history of Japanese literature was published. The history of Japanese Literature was written by MIKAMI Sanji and KOUZU Kuwasaburo, who had studied in the Japanese Study Course at the Imperial University. This paper aims to clarify the process of making this book.
