Popis: As part of support through childcare itinerant consultations concerning a 5-year and 7-month-old childat risk of a developmental disability, programmed childcare using a voice level scale was implementedand its effectiveness was tested. Childcare itinerant consultants and childcare workers jointly created achildcare support plan. In the plan, a priority issue for the child was to be able to make voice volumeadjustments according to the rules for group situations. To achieve this, individual and groupinstructions were given using the scale as part of programmed childcare. When creating and applyingthe voice level scale, efforts were taken to reflect the simultaneous cognitive processing style in whichthe child was adept. A childcare worker rated the child’s voice volume control for each instruction andregular childcare situation. At the end of one series of instructions, the childcare worker was askedabout behavior modification of the child and the other children. When prompted by the childcare workerand other children, the child was able to make voice volume adjustments to match each situation in agroup activity according to the rules. In light of this finding and in anticipation of the child’s upcomingentry to school, we discuss the effectiveness of the programmed childcare based on the childcare supportplan and ideal methods of childcare consultations.
