Popis: In this study, the following concepts, used by Yoichi Aizawa, are first explained: 'Labor/Social Policy', 'Social Policy', 'Imperialist Stage Social Policy', 'Social Policy in the National Monopolistic Capitalism Stage', 'Social Security', 'Total Life Security', 'Welfare'. Aizawa's definitions of these concepts, based as they are on the principle that both 'labor problems' and 'life problems' cannot be excluded as subjects of social security, are fundamentally affirmed. However, the concept of 'Welfare' is examined critically to a certain degree. Then, Aizawa's standpoint, which critically assimilates the 'British-Style Social Policy Theory', is carefully considered. Aizawa criticizes the 'British-Style Social Policy Theory' for its exclusion of 'labor problems', but approves of it for its inclusion of 'life problems'. Finally, the concept of modern social policy is experimentally defined, and this definition will be used as the foundation for clarifying topics of study in social welfare, which will be addressed in the near future.
