| Popis: | Numerical Space Engine at Kakuda Space Propulsion Laboratory was renewed on March 2002. The new system consists of two high performance servers, large storage systems, high speed networks, and various softwares. The main server is NEC SX-6 8 nodes model. Each node has 8 vector processors of these total performance of 64 GFlops and has 64 GBytes shared memory. The prepost server is a scalar parallel computer with 8 IA64 processors and 32 GBytes shared memory. The prepost server is mainly used for pre- and post-processing of numerical simulations and used as the front-end machine of the main server.
