A study on mental health of students in Nagoya University from results of UPI

Popis: We examined states of mental health conditions by UPI (University Personality Inventory) among 2,131 students in Nagoya University in 1995. The UPI has a checklist composed of 60 items regarding to the physical and mental conditons. The results may be summarized as follows. 1) Students in Nagoya University were in better conditions of mental health as compared with the existing results of other universities. 2) UPI score and liescale score seemed to relate reversely. 3) Numbers of students with high UPI score (above 30 points), who are thought to have possible problems in mental health, were 70(3.3%)
