Clinical studies were conducted on a new contrast medium, Sodium iothalamate (Conray•400). The results obtained are summarized as follows. 1) The contrast was visualized with satisfaction in all of 37 patients in which intravenous pyelography , was performed. 2) Intravenous injection of this medium was easier than Diatrizoate-76 and there was no much difference in viscosity between Conray and Conray-400. 3) No serious side effect was noted. These results suggested that Conray-400 is an excellent contrast medium for the study of the urinary tract. |
