Popis: Malnutrition causes increase of mortality, morbidity, and elongation of hospital stay. Dysphagia, especially in elderly patients, is one of main cause of malnutrition. The assessment and treatment of dysphagia should be performed with specialists including otorhinolaryngologist, dentist, and speech-language therapist. However, because the patients with dysphagia potentially possess some risk of malnutrition, Nutritional Support Team should join the nutritional assessment and management for dysphagia patients actively to supply appropriate nutritional approach.
