| Popis: | 宮城県の洋装衣料品小売店の立地展開と小売機能は仙台市，小都市，町村の3階層にもとづいた特性がみられる．県外資本の紳士服店は3階層に出店がみられ，洋装衣料品小売店の分散的立地傾向を示す．県外資本の婦人服店は仙台市に多数出店しており，ファッション性に富む洋装衣料品小売店は高次都市へ集中して立地する傾向を示す．県内資本店は仙台市の小売店が県内外へ広く店舗展開を図るのに対して，小都市以下の小売店の店舗展開は県内に限定される．商品の仕入先に関して仙台市の小売店は東京都港区，渋谷区等の先端的ファッション性に富む企業からの直接仕入れが多く，低次都市階層になるにしたがい，仕入先は地方卸売企業に依存する割合が増加する．ファッションビルに入店するブランドを分析したところ，広域中心都市には国内のデザイナーが立案するブランドが三大都市に次いで豊富である．したがって高次都市ほど先端的ファッション性に富んだ洋装衣料品小売店が多数集積していることが明らかとなった． This paper deals with the location and functions of retail apparel shops in Miyagi Prefecture in Japan. Analysis is emphatically made from the viewpoint of urban hierarchy. Sendai, the prefectural capital, now has a population of 970,000 and clearly stands at the top of urban hierarchy. The retail men's and women's shops, of either local or non-local capital, are largely supplied with apparel by the makers of fashionable Aoyama and Harajuku in western central Tokyo rather than by those of more traditional Kanda and Nihonbashi in central Tokyo. As a result, Sendai holds the central position of fashion in Miyagi Prefecture. There are nine cities with less than 120,000 people. The apparel shops there can be divided into two : men's and women's apparel shops and more comprehensive shops dealing with both apparel and others such as accesories, shoes, belts and hats. Smaller municipalities (machi and mura) with less than 38,000 people count sixty-one. Apparel is largely supplied by the makers of Kanda and Nihonbashi. There most of the appared shops sell other goods too. Compared with prefecture-level central places such as Morioka and Akita the number of fashion brands found in fashion buildings of Sendai clearly surpasses that of Morioka or Akita. Sendai renders an incomparably central function in the fashion-related urban hierarchical system of the entire Tohoku Region. 論説 ARTICLE |
