Popis: | application/pdf 紀要論文 This study aims at clarifying the mechanisms by which novice elementary school teachers blame themselves believing they are "irresponsible" or "incapable" in their school system without being helped by anybody and drive themselves to a burnout state. The author digs into the problem focusing on the relationship between novice teachers and their guidance teachers as mentors and administrators, considering the influences of the pervading of privatization and results-based teacher evaluations on school organizations and collegiality. Building on two years of participant observation and an in-depth ethnographic research of actual school scenes, this study contributes to clarify the mechanisms by which novice elementary school teachers become isolated. |
