Popis: | 研究成果の概要 (和文) : 英国では食品購入を通じて生物多様性保全に貢献している農業を支援する消費者が増えており,消費者の食品購入行動を農業支援へリンクさせている一方,日本でもエシカル市場に潜在的な可能性があることがわかった。また,農村地域に多数いる生物から保全生物候補52種を選定し,農村で豊かな生物多様性を保全するためには,それらを指標とした生物多様性保全戦略の策定が必要である。さらに,生物多様性に寄与する農法認証を農産物へ貼付したり,生物多様性と関係が薄い商品に寄付金を上乗せすることで,生物多様性保全のための資金確保が可能であることを明らかにした。 研究成果の概要 (英文) : Our research showed the following two facts; in the UK the consumers have increased lately who support agriculture contributing to biodiversity conservation (i.e. environmentally-friendly agriculture) through food purchasing, and food purchasing behavior of consumers is often linked with support for the agriculture. This study also revealed that Japan had potential to the market for ethical consumption.In addition, our team selected 52 species as a candidate for biodiversity index from many kinds of species observed in rural areas. The team concluded that in order to conserve biodiversity in a rural area, it was necessary to formulate a biodiversity conservation strategy using the species as an indicator. It is furthermore made clear that we could secure funds for biodiversity conservation by displaying a certification of contributing to biodiversity conservation on agricultural products or by adding donation on products that are not closely related to biodiversity conservation. |
