諸外国に比べると日本の中学校では,理科の勉強が楽しいと感じている生徒の割合が,小学校と比べて大きく減る。既存の授業形態を大きく変更することなく,生徒同士で理科の内容を共有し合う時間をつくることで理科に対する興味や関心を持続させる学習形態を提案し4年目の取り組みとなった。それを「理科話」と名付けており4年間で1200を超える話が集まった。生徒は理科に対する高い興味や関心が示され,「科学に関連する活動」が増えることが確認された。|It s said that children in Japan have lost opportunities to touch natural science in their daily lives recently and, in junior high schools, students who feel science studies are enjoyable are greatly reduced compared to those in elementary schools. We propose a learning style to keep students’ interests in science by providing time for sharing various topics of science among students without greatly changing the form of existing classes. We named it "Science talks" and continued it for four years. As a result, a total of more than 1,200 stories were accumulated. Students showed high interest in science, and it was confirmed that it raised students’ "activities related to science". |
