Number of repetition maximum and oxygen consumption at relative intensities of 1RM during free weight exercises in general male college students using barbell for bench press and squat

Popis: Recently, weight training has become popular among the general populace as a means of developing a health and physical fitness. However, there are many obscure points relating to the number of repetition maximum and oxygen consumption in the free weight exercises. This study focuses on general male college students (n=26) and measures the number of repetition maximum at 60, 70, 80, and 90% 1RM in bench press and squat using barbells. It also measures oxygen consumption when students (n=15) were asked to do 10 repetitions at 70% 1RM.
