Popis: The purpose of this present study is to revisit the study conducted by Kaneko(2021) which investigated critical factors that should be taken into consideration when conducting special seminars that help teachers learn how to teach English in elementary schools. The present study followed Kaneko’s research methods. Meikai University, in collaboration with J-SHINE and other affiliating offices of education, held a series of special seminars for elementary school teachers and others in 2021. This program was called MEIKAI-JOE Plus. Questionnaires were given to the attendees immediately after the series of seminars to evaluate them. The results were calculated and analyzed through statistical methods such as regression analysis in order to investigate what factors affected the degree of the general satisfaction of the participants. The results show that there were no decisive criteria which the participants adopted when they evaluated these seminars. The results reveal, however, that there were a few factors considered influential. Those crucial factors were as follows: explicit explanation by the lecturer; usefulness of materials provided; and usefulness of tasks introduced in the seminar.
