Popis: It focuses on the background and role of the Special Education Support Center, which has a significant impact on the development of the special education environment in Korea and compares the cases of career education supported by the Special Education Support Center. In addition, from the perspective of Japan’s four areas of aid for “school psychology,” we would like to consider how the aid services of Korea’s “special education support center” are related. Furthermore, it is important for schools, families, and communities to cooperate in the role of support services to facilitate education for children with disabilities in a symbiotic society. From this perspective, we would like to guide the necessity and challenges of assistance and cooperation. In particular, the role of special education support centers affiliated with local education offices in Korea shows that they are planning individual and special programs to support disabled children. It is important to continuously connect external career and work experiences after school graduation, including support from the school until graduation. Moreover, it is important for disabled children and healthy children to receive integrated education together.
