| Popis: | The paper presents a system that monitors andcontrols process variables for remote applications.LabVIEW (short for Laboratory Virtual InstrumentationEngineering Workbench) is a visual programminglanguage commonly used for Data Acquisition (DAQ) andcontrol. LabVIEW contains a user interface, known asfront panel objects. By this we can access the acquiredprocess variables over the internet. The accessed processvariables like temperature, pressure, strain or any othercan be suitably conditioned and feedback for control ofthe process via the internet for control. The system wouldfind wide application in processes which are hazardous innature. People can be safeguarded from hazardous effect,in dangerous areas like chlorine industry or at placeswhere person gets affected by dangerous gases. This notepresents one such idea using LabVIEW and Internet. |
