Popis: Executive Summary The aim of this Innovation Connections Research Project is to use the lessons of Fulton Trotter Architects’ 75+ years of practice history as a guide to inform future professional architecture practice. The firm has seen three distinct phases of leadership and personnel which have shaped the aspects of design, management and culture of the firm, and had lasting architectural and cultural influence throughout Australia. These three aspects were studied to inform a reflective and critical analysis of the firm that may offer a model of successful management and practice to other aspiring firms. QUT researchers have engaged in the following key activities: conducting a comprehensive literature review; conducting 21 semi-structured interviews with 20 participants; analysis of interview data; a round of case studies of FTA projects; and presentation of findings to FTA Directors. This report presents the findings from these activities and proposes the direction for further research.
