The invention relates to a rotary printing press having at least one inking unit. The inking unit comprises plate cylinders (1) which are suspended on at least one axis (2, 3) and an ink tray (5), wherein the plate cylinder (1) and an ink tray (5) can be positioned relative to each other such that the plate cylinder (1) can be inked by the ink (7) contained in the ink tray (5). It is novel and inventive that the ink tray (5) comprises at least one recess (8) in one of the lateral surfaces thereof at an end face of the plate cylinder (1), that said recess (8) is suitable for receiving at least one part of the axis (2, 3) of the plate cylinder (1), and that the inking unit comprises a sealing device (10, 11, 12, 14) by means of which the recess (8) can be at least partially closed off. |
