PURPOSES : This study aims is to analyze the influence of Islamic values on employees’ performance directly and through leadership indirectly. This study was conducted in Islamic private university in Medan City. METHODS : The approach used in this research is quantitative approach. A total of 72 people were used as samples in this study. Questionnaires were used as instruments to collect research data. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique in this study used a quantitative approach with path analysis statistics. FINDINGS : The results of this study indicate that Islamic values have a significant effect on employee leadership and performance is significant. The influence of leadership on employees’ performance is also significant. Leadership seems able to mediate the relationship of Islamic values with employee performance. This means there is a large role of leadership to intervene in the relationship of Islamic values with employees’ performance. KEYWORDS : Islamic values, Leadership, Employees’ performance   |
