Popis:	This report describes the results of a desk study on opportunities to improve the determination of the density of grass and maize silages. It is concluded that it is possible to develop a model (based on feed parameters) which estimates the density more accurate than the current tablebased method. Therefore, it is recommended to develop new calibration datasets based on silage densities as measured in common practice.
