Popis: | Due to the great environmental problems faced by the Brazilian savanna it is urgent to implement actions aimed at its protection. In this sense, environmental education is an excellent approach for awareness the effects of human actions in this biome. In this work, carried out on March 2018 at the Federal Institute of Brasilia (Campus Recanto das Emas), we evaluated the effectiveness of theoretical and field classes to address the environmental problems observed in this biome. Our results suggest that both classes were satisfactory. This is because in both cases there was similar performance and an increase in the student’s interest in the environmental issue. Therefore, the data of this study suggest that student reflections and actions on environmental issues are independent of the didactic strategy adopted. |
