Popis: | Pandemic causes stress, anxiety, and depression in people. The impact of natural events such as earthquakes may manifest in form of anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorders. More than 50% of patients who are waiting for surgery may experience significant preoperative anxiety. After 140 years, second largest earthquake was recorded in Zagreb, capital of Croatia during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aimed to examine the depression, anxiety, and stress in patients waiting for non-urgent gynecological surgery post earthquake trauma in Zagreb during the COVID-19 pandemic. |
