Popis: | A fusion protein, FX-CBD Cex , which comprises factor X with a cellulose-binding domain (CBD Cex ) fused to its C-terminus, was produced in BHK cells. It was purified from the culture medium by affinity chromatography on cellulose. FX-CBD Cex could be activated to FXa-CBD Cex with Russell viper venom. FXa-CBD Cex was as active as FXa against a chromogenic substrate and against proteins confining the Ile-Glu-Gly-Arg sequence hydrolysed by FXa. FXa-CBD Cex retained its activity when adsorbed to cellulose |
