| Popis: | Add-on therapy with flunitrazepam (FNZ) was performed in 5 children with marked sleep disturbance and intractable seizures. Correction of the sleep disturbance was attained immediately after the start of FNZ administration in all patients. Furthermore, a significant decrease in the seizure frequency (3 patients) and improved quality of life (4 patients) were concomitantly observed. There was no adverse effect or interaction with conventional AEDs on long-term use. |
