Popis: | When using F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography (F-18 FDG PET) in the detection of various malignant tumors, those with normal or low metabolic activity may lead to false-negative results. In combination with computed tomography (CT) and anatomic concepts, we successfully identified a patient with renal cell carcinoma, which showed normal FDG uptake on an F-18 FDG PET/CT imaging at the upper pole of the right kidney. |
