Popis: | Weather conditions can affect train dynamics and wheels adhesion, thus compromising transportation safety. The fifth generation broadband wireless networks, with distributed sensors arrays may provide more accurate estimation of track conditions. This paper proposes the use of track condition data from remote sensors in order to adapt the freight train mission for a mountain railway route driving simulation scenario. The results show this may help with predicting possible delays due to changed conditions en route. |
