Popis:	Parathyroidectomy (PTX) is performed in end-stage renal disease (ESRD) for the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism. Whether and how the number of glands removed affects parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels remain controversial. The objective of this study is to compare the biochemical and pharmacological evolution after subtotal PTX according to the number of glands removed in ESRD.
