Popis: | This paper gives a method for estimating reliability bounds for the reliability of a component, given the confidence intervals for the parameters in the stress and strength distributions. The method considers the smallest and the largest interference area between the distribution functions for the stress and strength random variables and hence the name. The method is explained via an illustrative example. |
