Popis:	A 27-item questionnaire dealing with attitudes and information concerning arthritis was administered to 100 patients attending an arthritis out-patient clinic, and responses were compared with information obtained from their physicians. Several discrepancies between patients' and physicians' concepts of clinical status and therapy were apparent, as well as differences in attitudes and beliefs related to factors of age, education, and type of arthritis. One-hundred and eighty forms of treatment had been recommended to the patients by non-professional persons.
