Popis: International audience; The IoT (Internet of Things) is expected to encounter new business trends like wholesale wireless connectivity, due to the emergence of new user demands. These new business trends and demands will have a major effect on the entire IoT system and on the associated security needs. In this paper, we study the necessity of providing a new AC (access control) framework for IoT through a comparison of the AC architectures in the different communication technologies that are currently in operation for IoT. We consider cellular, Wi-Fi and LoRaWAN networks and their compatibility with the wholesale wireless connectivity concept
