A new equation for wavelength dispersive x-ray fluorescence analysis without standards

Popis: We derive an iteration equation for calculation of the concentrations of the elements in X-ray fluorescence analysis without standards. It does not require calculation of the intensity of primary spectra, which can excite the characteristic fluorescent X-ray, so its calculation is simpler. The experiments show that the results derived by the method without standards converged to those by chemical analysis, after three to four iterative calculations. The influence of the configuration of the specimen is negligible.
