Popis:	Stroke, and neurodegenerative diseases represents, a major and rapidly growing burden of mortality and morbidity. The risk factors for stroke starts very early in life. Similarly, the changes of neurodegenerative diseases starts decades earlier than the clinical manifestations. Primordial prevention is necessary to prevent the establishment of risk factors to keep the population disease free. This will help to not only increase the life span, but also to prolong the health span.
